    Set on five private acres between Copper Mountain and Joshua Tree National Park, Hikari House offers a rooted serenity unlike any other. Thoughtfully designed to embrace its surroundings, the home features expansive glass and a signature 20-foot bi-fold opening that blurs the line between indoors and out, revealing 360° sight lines that frame the landscape like living art.

  • The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted with a Gaggenau refrigerator and freezer, state of the art Bosch 500 & 800 Series appliances, including a convection oven, induction island cooktop with recessed stainless steel island downdraft ventilation, and dishwasher. Stocked with a Beast blender, non-toxic Goop ceramic cookware, designer brand dinnerware, titanium eating utensils, Caraway kitchen accessories and storage, + more.

  • Hikari House is equipped with a brand-new LG washer/dryer tower. Guests are welcome to use it during the day for fresh, easy laundry care. As we operate off-grid, we kindly ask that laundry not be run at night to help conserve energy and support the home’s backup battery system.

  • To turn on heated bathroom floors, simply press on the up and down arrow buttons to set your desired temperature. Please set back to base level of 70° after use.

  • Relax into our custom vegan leather swings with scenic views of Joshua Tree National Park
    and its ancient boulders.

  • Hikari House features a 4 stage water filtration system that removes heavy metals, algae, lead, microorganisms, organic chemicals, and many more substances, as well as a double sediment filter and UV light to kill 99.9% of bacteria.

  • Our solar-powered automatic pool cover is easy to use: just flip the double-sided magnet to “Open” or “Close” and hold it to the wall mount to operate the cover.

  • Hikari House is supported by a home backup generator system that safeguards our off-grid setup. In the event of a power interruption, it automatically helps keep essential systems running, so your stay stays seamless, comfortable, and worry-free.

  • Hikari House is equipped with safety essentials, including a code-compliant ceiling fire sprinkler system, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher for emergency use, and a first-aid kit.

    For added peace of mind, there are five exterior security cameras positioned around the perimeter of the property to help protect guests and the home from unwanted intruders.
