Inside, the suite’s private bathroom feels like a modern desert cave, finished in dark textured plaster, accented with shou sugi ban wood, and equipped with optional heated floors for a grounding, spa-like experience. Two floor-to-ceiling reflective windows, including one in the shower, frame the landscape for sweeping daytime views and privacy by design. A dedicated desk workstation and generous closet space make the Master Suite as practical as it is serene, an elevated sanctuary for rest, work, and reflection.

Designed as its own private haven within Hikari House, the Horizon Room, just off the front patio, offers seclusion and serenity, giving you space to retreat, restore, and move at the desert’s pace. Fall asleep beneath the desert sky, then wake up to panoramic views of Joshua Tree’s timeless, Martian-esque boulder landscape, recharging in your own quiet sanctuary. Wrapped in expansive floor-to-ceiling glass, it offers a nature-forward stay with modern comforts, featuring light-blocking shades for deep rest and a dedicated mini-split AC and heating unit for effortless temperature control.

The Desert Nest is a cozy, design-forward haven with organic, sculpted textured walls and wabi-sabi textured artwork, thoughtfully appointed with a full-size RH designer dresser and clothing rack for an easy unpack-and-settle stay. A quiet pocket of the property sits just outside your door, framed by rows of sage that lend a subtle European feeling and a naturally soothing aroma, all against views of the open desert, boulders, and ancient olive trees. Step outside with your coffee, breathe in the stillness, and watch the desert light shift as the sun rises.
